Wind and Weather

The NE-Monsoon (locally called Amihan), kicks in over here around end-October and stays till mid-March.

Days without wind during that time are an exception. It is usually between 18 and 25 knots, but can go down to 15 and up to 40. The sky is usually covered with clouds, so sunrise-to-sunset-sessions may be carried out with only minor sunburn. Average temperature at this time of the year is 28 to 30 degrees.

In the rare event of having a day without wind, the CWC Wakeboarding Park in Naga, Camarines Sur, is just two hours down the road.

Ok, got to admit, it rains from time to time, and when it does, it does it properly. Gives you a chance to check out the local lifestyle and have a couple of cold ones.
