Kiteboarding is back, and big air is what it's about!
The Center
We are a Best Kiteboarding School and Shop located in Bagasbas, Daet, Camarines Norte which is situated along the south eastern coast of Luzon 380kms from Manila. Bagasbas is primarily a fishing community and is well known for it waves and long wide beach. Our shop opens up on the 1st of November and we close for the season on the 1st of March. We offer lessons, organise down winders, island hopping and safari's (weather conditions permitting). Our shop contains gear from Best, F-one and Crazy Fly. Starting the 1st of November 2010 Mikes Kites will be offering well appointed bungalows, choice of twin beds or queen size bed, airconditioned or fan, bungalows all have nice bathrooms with hot/cold shower, cable tv, covered patio to sit outside and relax, prices start at 800 pesos a night. Free Wi-Fi is always available at our bar on the beach. Construction of more bungalows and our new sports bar will continue into next year.
There are several outlying islands to explore. The possibilities for riding here are endless. All levels of kiteboarders, from total beginners to advanced riders who want to do freestyle or ride waves find all their needs suited. During Kiteboarding season, the wind is very consistent and reliable.
Here, you will find a picturesque countryside, and traditional, friendly Filipino people. There is not much western-style nightlife here. Instead, karaoke bars fronting the beach are the local choice of entertainment.
